Hi, I’m Valerie Skyler – EDM singer-songwriter and UGC content creator.

(And yes, you guessed it right—this is a stage name! Outside of the music and social media world, and for legal purposes, I go by my real name: Clair. My non-creative endeavors gets a bit nerdy though, so be warned.)

My journey into user-generated content (UGC) and influencer marketing began in 2015 when I decided to dive into management consulting.

As I started working with brands like Periscope (acquired by Twitter, now X), LIKEE, BIGO, TED-Ed, The Today Show, ItsMe app, PopSugar, and the Huffington Post on content creation, I saw my consulting practice grow alongside it.

This led to opportunities across conversion copywriting, marketing campaigns, and influencer recruitment. Excluding tech automation projects, these creative endeavors are the ones I’ve enjoyed the most!

So when I say I understand the power of content… I mean it.

I was born in South Korea, but I grew up in Canada. I'm fluent in English and Korean, with basic-intermediate working fluency in French.

I split my time between Montreal and Calgary, Canada.

I’m open to creating content in most niches—with a soft spot for tech, home, travel, and beauty content!

Unfortunately, brands that are political, NSFW, or highly regulated (think real estate, defence, legal, etc.) may not be the best fit for UGC projects.

Types of Content

I’m a fur parent, so I call all dogs—regardless of size or age—'puppies' and 'babies'!

It gets a lot of objections, sure, but my 11-year-old maltipoo is totally on board so...
